Kingsway

Kingsway is a town centre mall, located in the heart of Newport, Wales. It has recently undergone a complete refurbishment, where the entire interiors have been re-designed and refitted. We worked closely with the contractors, BAM Construction and the architects, Colman, on signage and interior decoration for the project.

One part of the design features 4m x 600mm multi coloured fascia panels and 600mm x 1m LED illuminated pilaster projectors. We worked closely with the architect and designed both model and life-sizes mock-ups to test a variety of materials. The final product was created from wire mesh, polycarbonate and acrylic. We manufactured 70 in total and despite the design process taking longer than originally scheduled, we were able to complete the project on time.
