  • Arsenal FC

In conjunction with Edinburgh based company 442 Design, Bull Signs were commissioned to develop an image for the retail and marketing areas of the new Emirates stadium. This took place during the summer closed season, but as the project grew due to the outstanding success of the image and raised awareness it created for the public, it expanded to include in-between match days. A variety of products were designed including GOAL POST fascias as shown here. Other products included fully illuminated 2 metre square cubes and totem signs which are removable when no football matches are on. Bull Signs are now working on a visual directional system as part of the same programme.

  • Panasonic

Bull Signs was asked to look at the requirements and specification for the shop signage for Panasonic. We were subsequently appointed to implement the changes on a new store which opened in Crawley. The fresh approach, providing a clean image at a reduced cost, will be continued into the roll out programme.

  • Dublin Airport

Having tendered with several EU and Ireland-based companies, Bull Signs was awarded the contract for the implementation of the Directional, Information and Wayfinding sign system, including statutory and back of house requirements, for the new International terminal in Dublin. During the design and prototyping process the specification was revised to include the provision of LED technology for illuminating all the signs, making this terminal totally 'green' in respect of energy use. The contract ran for over 12 months with a near continuous presence on site. Almost 10,000 signs were produced at Bull Signs' factory near Gatwick Airport - these were transported to site in batches to coincide with the progress of the Terminal construction. Within the same timeframe, Bull Signs was also appointed to provide the retail signage for 15 bespoke retail units in the lounge, which were again manufactured incorporating the new energy-saving technology.

  • London Heathrow Airport Terminal 2

Bull Signs has been awarded the contract to supply and install the new signage at London Heathrow T2. Our tender involved working out the construction and logistics, as well as the mechanical and electrical requirements of a sign system which we had not come across before. We had to tender against the term contract holders and a back up company and were awarded the contract thanks to the quality of our portfolio and competitiveness of our bid. Reconnaissance and careful cost analysis brought us into the project as the best economical tender bid. We feel that this proves once again that small businesses can provide savings and ultimate service during the current economic climate. Having not worked directly with BAA for a number of years, this has been a real step forward in renewing a relationship with one of the country’s highest profile clients

  • More, London

More London is a Fosters+Partners project comprising seven buildings adjacent to Tower Bridge and opposite the Tower of London. We are responsible for the ‘shell and core work’ for three of the seven buildings. This included ensuring fundamental signage, such as safety notices, manifestation and fire escape way-finding, was appropriately installed throughout each building. We are currently working on the last of the seven buildings in this prestigious development. Occupiers of the buildings we have completed include Ernst & Young, Hewitt Associates, and Hilton Hotels.

  • Heathrow Airport Terminal 3

We are currently installing more than 250 new signs throughout the BA lounges in Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 3. The state of the art refurbishment project is due to be completed in Spring 2009. It comprises a complete way-finding system featuring a contemporary-looking two-tone design.

We painted and over-painted the panels before covering them in vinyl to achieve the effect sought by BA’s design team. We are working in conjunction with the developers Mace and architects YRM. It was largely thanks to the speed and quality of our work on Heathrow’s Terminal Five that this contract was offered to us.
